New System Coordinator for Omega 365
Rune Halbrend is the new System Coordinator for Omega 365, Omega’s internal operations system.
Omega 365 is an operations system that ensures better workflows across operations in Omega. In the course of 2020, more functionality will be added to the system and there is now a dedicated team that is working on the testing and design of the solutions.
“Since December last year we have included the administration of our consultancy business and parts of our software business in Omega 365. Moving forward, we will relocate our entire enterprise resource planning (ERP) functionality to the new system, and we are working on improvements to existing functionality on a continual basis,” says Corporate HSEQ Manager and Product Owner for Omega 365, Karina Hovden Stava.
Halbrend joins the Omega 365 team following a move from his previous position in Business Support, a position he has held since 2006. He knows Omega well and brings with him a wealth of experience gained from working with Omega’s many departments and international offices. Halbrend will contribute to documentation, training, testing, and the quality assurance of our internal operations system.
“I really appreciate the experience and knowledge I have had the opportunity to acquire so far and I am looking forward to the new tasks that are ahead of me in Omega 365,” says the new System Coordinator, whose first day in his new position was September 1.
